A few Photos from today

The internet has been rather slow here and the uploading of photographs has been taking a while. Here are just a few for now and we will put the rest up tomorrow when we return.  Enjoy!

Daizy: It was really fun today going on a long journey, legs and feet were aching but we didn't give up.

Keely: I liked seeing York Minster and all the other buildings in the area.

Ethan  B: I enjoyed the photo hunt, trying to find them in the town.

Sundus: I loved the worksheets on the coach journey.

Tyler: It was great going along the wall surrounding the town.

Kyle B: I loved the viking style buildings.

Mandeep: I liked it when we had free time and I like that we are sharing dorms with our friends.

Charlotte: I liked looking round.

William: I enjoyed being with my friends, having a good time and working together.

Seth: I liked walking the long distance around the wall in York.

Euen: I liked seeing all the great places and architecture in York.

Eve: I liked playing games on our journey to York and completing the photo hunt, especially the Roman emperor statue.

Whitney: Seeing our bedrooms was an exciting time when we arrived here in York.

 I love my room mates and I enjoyed the photo hunt.

Emma: I didn't want to try the pasta bake but I did and I loved it! I especially like having friends around me.

Chloe: I'm looking forward to sharing my bedroom with all my friends.

Jack: I liked going along the great wall in York. I love all my friends in Year 4 and my teachers. The wall was a bit dangerous but I got used to it and managed reaching the end.

Libby: My favourite part was trying new food which I enjoyed!

Bit scared of the height of the wall.

Kyle M: I like my room mates, it's a really nice room and I especially liked the photo hunt around York.

Jayden: Hi Mum and Dad, I had a good time in York and I enjoyed the photo hunt. The room is great too! I walked miles and miles and miles and miles! I miss you!

Danny: Hi mum and dad, I am having a great time in York and I can;t wait to see the Viking Centre tomorrow!

Abby: Hi mum and dad, I liked looking around York, it's a really fun and beautiful place to be!

Kushi: I got to stay with my class mates and I had a really good meal!

Humdaan: I liked walking round and round but my legs were hurting!

Duncan: It was a long walk around the wall but it was worth it because the view was beautiful!

Laurel: I loved the soup and I've enjoying my trip so far!

Isaac: I like the fact we can share a room with our friends and climbing up the wall was great.

Mcorley: York Minster was an impressive building!

Mrs Bransk: I enjoyed walking along the wall and watching the stone mason carving stone for the Minster

Duncan's mum: I've enjoyed everybody's company!

Gemma: Enjoyed walking around the wall and had a great experience today with the children!

Mrs Szyndler: I was really impressed with children walking along the wall and the children's ability of spotting points on the photo hunt. Great listening and map reading skills in the groups! 

Mr Darnley: Had a fantastic day with the children and impressed with their knowledge regarding the Vikings! Great observational skills and respect during our walk along the high street.

Our First Day!

We have had an enjoyable first day in York!

After a yummy dinner, we are now ready for bed, but just before we go to bed we would like to share with you some comments from our day and a few photos!
