We were just walking down the old cracked road when we came across  something strange and weird.It looked liked massive pieces of bubble wrap that you could pop.What was it? Was it  an alien camp or what?  Inside there must be alien's feeding on humans - better not get to close. What if something good was going to happen though? Oh let's just push it to the back of our minds. It was suddenly really hot. Let's eat some blueberries and hopefully it will cool us down. "It smells like  muddy bombs round here" we thought.

Long ago a UFO crash landed and split into 3 pieces and its now a place where scientists do a lot of experiments to make humans  as quick as lightning disappear.Its really  like a 3 domed golf ball but anyway I couldn't believe the next thing and that is it looks like bubble rap too the bubbles were in the shape of hexagons  it looked as if it was almost see through but when people looked in it was blurred.The golf ball stunk of rotten beef but it was wobbling side to side and up and down like there was a disco.

Area 51

 A few thousand years ago an alien space craft crash landed in Arizona so,the government built a secret base to experiment on the space craft. 

It has been there for that long and still only the government know what it is. It is made from super sticky bubble wrap to stop anyone getting out or getting in. It was in the shape of 3 chopped golf balls and smelt like chicken nuggets. If you try to look in you will not see a thing because the bubbles in the bubble wrap are made of dark tinted glass but the scientists inside can see you. 

Yes my friend this is Area 51!

Whenever we go on holiday I always get bored, until today. I was glumly walking down the road when I saw the most peculiar sight. It was there. Right before me. Like a giant ZORG ball. My mouth was wide open. Holding my nose because of it's sincere odour, I was surprised because it did not look as if it would smell, but it did. Just looking at it almost made me faint. This thing looked as if it was from outer space. Maybe it was, I don't know. Slowly, I crept up to it. I know this sounds crazy, but I licked it. It tasted gritty and salty. Suddenly, I heard voices coming from inside the giant bubble wrap. Just at that moment, I spotted a door. I tip-toed inside . . .

                                                       Danny the champion of the world.


Is a fantastic book for people who love adventure.It's about a boy called Danny who lived in a old gypsy caravan with his farther they own a petrol station.One night when Danny went to bed his dad went of to some poaching with out Danny knowing.Danny wake's because of a passing truck  he looks up on the bunk on top of him (were his dad sleeps) and he wasn't there so he sat an the step of the gypsy caravan with his blanket and waited for his dad to come back but he didn't very early in the morning.

 The Worst Thing About My Sister

This book is great because two sisters never get along but then something out of the ordinary happens. Marty gets really annoyed with her sister because Melissa (her sister) makes fun of Marty for having cuddly toys when Melissa can't get to sleep without baba (her teddy). So Marty rips up baba so Melissa hurries up the bunk bed ladder but Marty keeps on kicking the ladder the first time nothing happened the second time nothing happened it was as noisy as a tornado. But then suddenly Melissa fell to the ground with a great big thud then Melissa got  rushed to hospital.

If your adore for chocolate then this is the time for you to read this book you'll love it.

A boy called charlie that lived in a little house with a big family he was the little 

boy in his house.They were really poor, Charlie goes to school everyday When his class ends they all go to the shop that sells hundreds and hundreds of chocolate called mr willy wonkas chocolates.Charlie doesn't buy chocolate he buys a loaf of bread because he      cares abut his family.When he takes it home he gives it to his mother.He gets sick of having his usual dinner.

Harry Potter is a fantastic but scary story about a boy who fights to save. He is a great wizard that lost his  nice parents because of an evil killer. He tries to demolish the evil wizard Voldemort and he completes his job. He has two best friends called Ron and Hermione. They try to help Harry on his quest. Harry finds a sword that he needed to get to defeat these evil  horcruxes ( voldermort's soul that he put into things that are special to him ) that slow him down on his quest. He never gives up when he loses and gains new friends on the way. They support him  even though they might get hurt.

Gangsta Gran.

This book is about a child named Ben and his old smelly gran who has a secret or 2.Bens parents are crazy about Strictly Stars Dancing and every Friday dump ben at his grans house.Then there parents would either go to Strictly Stars Dancing Live,cinema or to a restaurant.Ben would always dash like a beam of light to his room to read is favourite magazine Pluming Weekly.His gran would make him eat  wet cabbage soup.He would pour the cabbage soup in his grans Dead plant.When Ben found out his gran was a robber he swore not to tell a single soul.

Ghost Rescue .
When a boy named Charlie went to FairFax castle  he met a family (or pack) of very unhappy ghosts.The ghosts get bossed by a woman and she forces the ghosts to sing a horrible song against their will!Can Charlie be able to help all the ghosts that are prisond in FairFax castle and the ghosts need Charlie's help to try and break them free from being prisond forever and ever (and also they want to haunt someplace else than FairFax castle because they are tierd of being bossed about all day every day (inc  day + night! But they must be really really annoyed about it!)

The Hobbit : Chapter 18

As the goblins and the wargs approached the brisk of the valley, Gandalf spoke . . . " The battle of five armies has begun!" First, the elvish spearman attacked from the east side of the mountain. The goblins that were riding the wargs charged from the top of the valley fiercely. Many arrows were shot from the goblins in the northern area of the mountain. Suddenly, the goblins retreated back to the bottom of the valley. Next, the army of dwarves led by Dain (A cousin of Thorin) charged at the goblin sword-men. But only to find out that the goblins were joined by yet more goblins and wargs.

Ark Angel

I like Ark Angel because the main character called Alex Rider has a amazing personality. He is a secret agent working for MI6. He killed the biggest criminal in the world. The book has a lot of action and killing. The MI6 try catching a multi-million air who kills anyone who gets in his way. He made a hotel in space and is plotting to bomb it so it falls down on Washington and all the evidence gets destroyed. The criminal was so evil he planned to cut his son's finger! Alex and the MI6 must stop him, fast.

Double Act
Double Act is about some twins that don't look like each other or like doing the same things as each other. One day something comes up that is on both of there minds but there dad doesn't want them to go. So they escape but when they get there do they both like it or do they think that it's something neither of them really like to do. There's dancing that Ruby doesn't like and singing and talking infront of lot's of people that Garnet is shy of. If you would like to be a twin this is the perfect book for you.

To argue one side of an issue or dilemma

So Augustus Gloop I hear you won the golden ticket! If you can help me in a small favour we’ll both be rich! You should sneakily go into the factory and get the everlasting gobstopper and I'll give you all the food you want! But remember, do it sneakily, don't get caught! Go and get the everlasting gobstopper.

Here is my text for convincing Mike TV to steal an everlasting gobstopper.

To argue one side or an issue of dilemma

So mike TV you’ve won a golden ticket have you? If you get me an everlasting gobstopper I’ll let you go on TV - If you’re up for the test! And I’ll throw in a real cowboy pistol and I will give it you right after you give me the everlasting gobstopper. Or if you don’t want your gun I will give you 1,000,000 pounds. If you want all this get me the everlasting gobstopper or else if you don’t get it, I will give you nothing.  I will be amazed if you get it for me and I will let you have a 1 year supply of chocolate and the chocolate would be my own everlasting gobstopper. It will be wonderful and it wont be terrible. Trust me it will be the best in the universe.  

Trampolining and Archery

On Tuesday Year 4 went to Whitley Academy to take part in some trampolining and archery. We had a great time and learned lots of new skills.

Issues and Dilemmas

For our Literacy work on issues and dilemmas, we have been looking at the story of Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Charlie and the other characters face many choices in the story, where they have to decide what to do or how they should act.  The results of the choices they make for each of these dilemmas can have positive or negative consequences...

We are just at the beginning of the story, but we will be posting our writing from each of the different characters points of view at the end of next week.
